Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; further coursework in psychology, behavior modification or related fields desirable.
• Experience with children with learning disabilities or emotional disturbances preferred; crisis intervention training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with severe disabilities to meet physical and emotional needs during the instructional day.
• Assist the teacher with record keeping and instructional support activities; help develop life skills and/or provide physical care.
