Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience as a paraeducator or paraprofessional preferred.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to all children regardless of needs and/or abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and activities.
• Supervise students during arrivals, transitions, meals, and field trips.
• Assist with implementing IEP goals and behavior plans under licensed staff.
• Support engagement through prompting, cueing, modeling, and scaffolding.
• Operate classroom equipment and assistive technology as needed.
• Assist with data collection on student progress and maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in collaboration meetings and required professional development.
• Other duties as assigned.
