Norwalk Public Schools is seeking a Paraeducator for the 2026-2027 school year in Concord. The Paraeducator supports students in their educational programs alongside a special education teacher, assisting with classwork, maintaining student records, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalency and a ParaPro Certificate, with preferred experience of working with students with special needs. This is a Monday through Friday, 27.5 hours per week role with limited benefits.
Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Two years of experience working with children or young adults preferred.
Ability to follow teacher directives related to instructional and behavioral goals.
Responsibilities
Support students in their educational programs under teacher supervision.
Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
Collect data on student learning activities.
