Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of nine college credits related to education (behavior management, strategies).
• One year of experience with students in structured settings preferred.
• If no related coursework, two to four years of experience with children/adolescents in structured settings.
• Successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment with a qualifying score of 455+.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with IEP-mandated goals and supports.
• Provide personal, medical, behavioral, and academic assistance.
• Support students in classroom activities and off-site instructional settings if needed.
• Perform clerical tasks to support teachers and staff.
