Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator at John T. Baker Middle School to support students with IEPs.

The role includes assisting with academic, behavioral, social, emotional, and physical needs, attending to personal care and medical needs, and potentially working with students off campus for learning activities. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students in educational settings is preferred.
• Successful completion of ParaPro Assessment with a qualifying score.
• Ability to accommodate flexible scheduling and possible overtime/locations.

Responsibilities

• Attend to student needs and support IEP goals.
• Assist with instruction and classroom management.
• Support students with various needs including behavioral and medical needs.
• May work off school grounds for learning activities.
