Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor's preferred in education or related field.
• College coursework should include education-related topics (behavior management, instructional strategies).
• One year of experience with students in structured educational settings preferred.
• Two to four years of experience in a structured setting acceptable if no related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of instructional programs to support student learning.
• Monitor and promote appropriate student behavior in various classroom settings.
• Provide clerical and supportive tasks to teachers and other staff as needed.
• Support students with IEPs and adapt instruction to individual needs.
