Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking paraeducators for Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. The role supports students with IEPs, assists with general and specialized instruction, and helps maintain a positive learning environment.

The position is part-time/variable hours with responsibilities across classrooms. Candidates should hold an associate degree, have related experience, and meet ParaPro requirements; flexibility with location may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 48 college credits and two years of experience in a structured setting.
• ParaPro Assessment with a qualifying score of 455 or higher is required.
• Two years of experience in a structured setting such as daycare or school programs.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and policies; ability to support students with IEPs.

Responsabilités

• Assist students with IEP goals and learning activities.
• Support instructional programs and classroom management.
• Monitor student behavior and safety during activities.
• Provide clerical support to teachers and staff.
