Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the student’s IEP and support organization of instructional materials and equipment.
• Assist with and/or perform personal care and hygiene activities as necessitated by the student’s needs.
• Implement strategies and participate in training to prevent and manage behavioral challenges with dignity and safety, including crisis response when needed.
• Support implementation of alternate communication devices and ensure access across settings.
• Participate in verbal de-escalation and crisis management training provided by the district.
• Maintain student documentation and progress monitoring as requested.
