Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.
• 48 college credits or paraprofessional assessment (ETS/NES) required for Title I.
• Previous experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities and materials to support objectives.
• Assists in implementing instructional programs and provides instruction.
• Participates in implementing IEP goals and behavioral plans.
• Performs clerical tasks to prepare instructional materials.
• Maintains data collection and documents activities and assistance.
• Attends trainings and professional development sessions.
• Assists with immediate health care and personal care tasks as directed.
• Aids students with mobility, transportation and device access.
• Supports pre-lunch and lunch activities and monitors students.
