Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or HS diploma with Georgia Paraprofessional Certification or equivalent.
• Valid Paraprofessional Certificate.

• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students with disabilities in the classroom as assigned.
• Assist with supervision and maintain student safety and adherence to rules.
• Perform data collection and routine record-keeping as instructed.
• Assist in clerical tasks including ordering and inventory of materials.
• Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comply with technology policies.
• Participate in professional learning and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Assist in preparation of instructional materials and displays.
• Exhibit a collaborative and flexible attitude, taking direction from the supervisor.
• Support leadership role in the absence of the regularly assigned teacher.
