Job summary

Harford County Public Schools seeks a Paraeducator – Special Education for the CSP Program at Church Creek Elementary School. This full-time ten-month position supports instruction, data collection, and IEP/IFSP implementation under the teacher's direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with options for further college credits.
• ParaPro score of 455+ or equivalent ParaPathways/Foundations certificates.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transfer students up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students during instruction.
• Implement teacher lesson plans with individuals or small groups.
• Assist with data collection, testing, and student assessments.
• Support IEP/IFSP implementation for students with special needs.
• Monitor student behavior and apply intervention plans.
• Assist with personal care needs and lifting when required.
• Prepare instructional materials for students.
• Participate in school duties and professional development.
• Support instruction via digital platforms as needed.
