Educational Service Dist 112 White Salmon School District is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator for Whitson Elementary in White Salmon, WA. The role is 32.5 hours per week during the school year with regular attendance expected.

Salary ranges from $21.82 to $26.99 per hour, with offers at the start of the range. Responsibilities include assisting the Special Education Teacher with IEP/IFSP goals, providing one-on-one and small group instruction, supervising students, collecting progress

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet one of the following educational requirements: Associate's Degree; or 48 sem./72 quarter credits; or passing scores on ParaPro or Pearson Paraprofessional; or 65% in Master Teacher Paraeducator program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Education Teacher with lesson plans, one-on-one and small group instruction.
• Supervise students and maintain classroom management.
• Collect data and report progress; communicate with parents and staff as instructed.
