Qualifications

• Meet one of the following educational options: Associate's degree OR 48 sem./72 quarter credits OR Paraprofessional assessments OR Master Teacher program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Education Teacher with lesson plans and one-on-one or small group instruction.
• Supervise students and support classroom management.
• Collect data and report student progress; maintain accurate data records.
• Communicate with staff and parents as directed by the teacher.
• Provide support for student personal hygiene needs as required.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; participate as a team member.
