Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Associate's Degree or 48 sem./72 quarter credits from an accredited college or university; OR
• Passing score of 455 on the ParaPro Assessment; OR
• Passing score of 220 on the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment; OR
• 65% on The Master Teacher, Inc. Paraeducator Online Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Education Teacher with lesson plan prep and small group instruction.
• Supervise students and maintain classroom management.
• Collect data and report student progress.
• Maintain accurate data collection records and communicate with staff and parents.
• Provide positive behavior support per IEP/IFSP.
• Attend staff meetings and participate on the education team.
