Job summary

Monroe Public Schools is seeking a Paraeducator for Stepney Elementary to support the instructional program for students with special needs. The position runs 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am–3:30 pm, with focus on assisting in supervision, care, and instruction in various classroom settings.

Responsibilities include adapting activities, assisting with IEP objectives, and providing immediate support under teacher direction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or college coursework is desirable.
• ParaPro assessment is desirable.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of children and staff.

Responsibilities
