Qualifications

• Must pass a background clearance.

• Minimum of 48 semester hours of study at a regionally accredited institution (or) WorkKeys test completed as approved by the Alabama State Board of Education.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities under supervision to support objectives.
• Assists with immediate aid and healthcare needs as directed by lead teacher.
• Assists students with wheelchair access, bus loading/unloading, and safe transportation.
• Monitors students to maintain a safe learning environment in various school settings.
• Supports implementation of IEP goals and behavior plans.
• Provides instruction support across individual and group activities under teacher supervision.
