Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree or passing GACE assessments required.
• Certification as mandated by the Professional Standards Commission.
• Education level aligned with federal, state and local guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with instructional strategies and activities.
• Assist selected students in resource, self-contained and/or regular settings.
• Follow IEP/behavior/health care plans and provide related accommodations.
• Supervise students on bus routes and school grounds as required.
• Utilize assistive technology and related devices to aid learning.
• Maintain records, assist with grading and progress data.
