Job summary

Littleton Public Schools (LPS) is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for Field Elementary. The role involves providing individual or small group instruction under licensed staff, implementing IEP-related strategies, and supporting students in various school settings while maintaining confidentiality.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma (Associates preferred), experience with students with disabilities, and be prepared to obtain CPR/First Aid within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting instruction in reading, writing, math or school-readiness skills.
• One year experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications within 3 months of hire.
• Medication administration class may be required as determined by student need.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group instruction under the supervision of licensed staff.
• Implement strategies, monitor progress and collect data for IEP goals and behavior plans.
• Monitor and support students during school activities; prepare and modify instructional materials.
