Responsibilities

• Support students with physical, academic and social-emotional needs in instructional settings.
• Assist teachers in daily instruction, manage classroom environment, and support IEP goals.
• Provide sensory and behavior supports, including use of sensory plans and managing transitions.
• Assist in communication between students and staff, including use of assistive technology.
• Participate in development of social, emotional, and behavioral skills with individuals or groups.
• May review student IEPs and provide personal care assistance if needed.
