Job summary

Pulaski County Special School District's Sylvan Hills Elementary in Sherwood, AR is seeking a Special Education Para. Located at 402 Dee Jay Hudson Drive, the role supports teachers in implementing instructional programs for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities.
• Successful completion of paraprofessional assessment or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction under supervision.
• Implement behavior management as directed by teacher and principal.
• Assist with physical needs including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Administer medications as directed by the school nurse.
• Maintain classrooms and assist with lunchroom, recess and bus duties.
• Adhere to Board policies and school guidelines.
