Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent and AA degree or 60 credits or para pro test.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to teachers in meeting the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce motor, academic, social, self-care or communication skills.
• Assist in devising strategies to reinforce skills based on students' needs, interests and abilities.
• Assist students with physical disabilities, including transferring, lifting and positioning.
