Job summary

Anoka-Hennepin School District is seeking two full-time Paraeducators/Teacher Assistants for Special Education. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; PCA cert due within 30 days of start.
• Candidates may have 60 credits/associate degree or ParaEducator/ParaPro exam; documentation required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and recordkeeping abilities; comfortable using technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage behavior by redirecting, calming or removing a disruptive student from the classroom.
• Monitor and record student progress across academics, daily living skills, and social/functional areas.
• Assist with students' physical needs including toileting, feeding, dressing, and positioning; transport as needed.
