Job summary

Cedar Springs Hospital is seeking a Special Education Coordinator to oversee Southgate School, a facility school. You will supervise staff and manage IEPs to ensure compliance for students transitioning in and out. This role reports to the Special Education Director and requires strong leadership.

You will conduct IEP meetings, coordinate reevaluations, and ensure adherence to federal/state regulations. Strong communication skills and knowledge of Infinite Campus/Project Ed are preferred for

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Special Education preferred.
• CDE certification in Special Education required.
• CDE certification in education required.
• Five years working with special education students preferred.
• Three years administrative/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and management of Southgate School.
• Supervise all staff at Southgate School.
• Conduct and manage IEPs to ensure compliance for students transitioning in/out.
• Handle reevaluations and related duties as assigned.
