Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract in Fort Worth, TX. The role centers on providing targeted math instruction to students in grades 6–12 within small-group/resource settings.

You will manage special education caseloads, document services, monitor progress, and coordinate with both Special Education and general education teams to drive measurable growth in mathematics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Texas Special Education Certification for grades 6+ (Middle/High School).
• Valid Texas Content Area or Generalist Certification appropriate for the grades served (6+ or K-5).
• Math teaching or instructional experience with small-group or resource support for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized mathematics instruction in small-group/resource settings for grades 6-12, adapting to individual needs.
• Manage assigned special education caseload responsibilities, including service documentation and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with Special Education and general education teams to implement instructional and support strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction to promote measurable growth in mathematics.
