Job summary

Cross Country Education in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide targeted small-group mathematics instruction for students in grades 6–12 and to manage related special education caseload responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field is required.
• Valid Texas Special Education Certification for grades 6+ is required.
• Valid Texas Content Area or Generalist Certification for grades served (6+ or K–5) is required.
• Mathematics teaching or instructional experience with small-group/resource support for students with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized mathematics instruction in small-group/resource settings for grades 6–12.
• Manage assigned special education caseload responsibilities, including service documentation and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with Special Education and general education teams to develop instructional strategies.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to promote growth in mathematics.
