Qualifications

• Must hold NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement.
• NJ Middle School Math Certification for Grades 5-8 is required.
• New Jersey K-12 Mathematics Content Certification preferred.
• Experience teaching middle school mathematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement the curriculum aligned to New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
• Prepare and implement lessons that provide meaningful learning experiences for students.
• Differentiate academic instruction for students at varying levels of attainment to maximize student potential.
• Exercise open and respectful communication with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school staff.
• Measure progress and provide progress reports as required.
• Create a safe, thriving, and respectful environment in the classroom and campus.
• Utilize technology effectively in lessons and manage student data.
