Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking passionate special education teachers for elementary and high school life skills classrooms. Two full-time roles emphasize alternate curriculum and individualized support, starting ASAP and running through May 21, 2027.

Responsibilities include delivering modified curricula, implementing IEPs, tracking progress, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active teaching certification with appropriate SPED endorsement.
• Experience with alternate curriculum and/or life skills classrooms.
• Strong communication, compassion, and adaptability.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
• Willingness to collaborate with general education staff, families, and support personnel.
• Familiarity with elementary and high school populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, modified curriculum aligned with students' abilities and goals.
• Implement IEPs, collect data, monitor progress, and report findings.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom culture that encourages independence and self-advocacy.
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Adapt lessons and strategies to support a diverse range of learning styles and needs.
