Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• DOE teaching certification in state of Virginia.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct in designated subject area within a regular classroom setting.
• Promote a positive classroom atmosphere to maximize student motivation.
• Maintain classroom discipline to maximize learning.
• Establish strong rapport with students.
• Utilize available curriculum resources.
• Maintain attendance records and student folders.
