Job summary

The Delaware Valley Middle School is seeking an Instructional Assistant/Special Education Assistant to support teachers by working with small groups or individual students and reinforcing instruction.

Duties include developing learning materials for classroom use and supervising the cafeteria, hallways, and other areas. A basic understanding of child growth and development is required.

Qualifications

• Clearances required: Act 34 Criminal History Clearance, Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, and a pre-employment drug test, plus all other required employment forms.
• Associates Degree or 48 college credits required.

• Assisting classroom teachers in working with small groups or individual students in reinforcement of instruction.
