Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists individual or small groups of students with all curricular areas to build background knowledge and reinforce concepts.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers regarding student progress to support learning environments.
• Conducts assessments under teacher supervision to evaluate instructional needs.
• Maintains manual and electronic files and records for documentation and compliance.
• Implements academic and behavioral interventions as needed.
• Organizes instructional materials for small-group use.
• Reports student progress to assist teachers in instructional planning.
• Supervises students during class, lunch, recess, and field trips as needed.
• Participates in meetings and professional development to improve job performance.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
