Job summary

BASIS ED in Flagstaff is seeking a Special Education Instructional Assistant to support students with disabilities in general education, small groups, or 1:1 settings. You will maintain confidentiality, prepare materials, and report progress to the SPED teacher.

Requirements include a high school diploma, IVP fingerprint clearance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred CPI/TACT-2 and 1+ year experience in related duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or background check.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities in general education, small groups, or 1:1 settings.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and progress information.
• Prepare resource materials for individual students or small groups.
• Provide progress reports to the SPED teacher.
• Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEP).
• Reinforce concepts taught by special education staff.
• Perform administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain regular, full attendance.
• Potential site designee to provide CPI/TACT-2.
