Job summary

Wake County Public School System seeks an Instructional Assistant-Special Education to support teachers in coordinating instructional programs for students with IEPs. Qualifications

• Ability to protect confidentiality under FERPA and related laws.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to teachers in coordinating instructional programs for special education students.
• Assists with implementation of behavior intervention plans.
• Maintains materials and prepares necessary classroom resources.
• Coordinates student transitions between classes and supports health-related student needs.
• Participates in district staff development and maintains confidentiality.
