• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Skilled in interpersonal relations for effective work with staff and students.

• Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of certified staff in implementing students' IEP.
• Supervises students indoors, outdoors, and in the community to ensure safety.
• Provides clerical services and prepares instructional materials.
• Assists with health-related tasks under the direction of school nurses.
• Supports motor development with therapists and assists communication for hearing/vision impaired.
• Maintains attendance and presence as essential functions of the role.
