Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED as required by Kentucky law.
• Some experience working with children in an organized setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups under the direction of a certificated teacher; monitor and report student progress.
• Participate as a member of an instructional team and assist in remediation efforts.
• Prepare and organize lessons and materials as directed by the teacher; assist in testing and record-keeping.
• Monitor student behavior and safety following approved procedures; communicate progress to teachers and parents as needed.
• Provide clerical support and classroom maintenance as required.
