Job summary

Putnam County Schools is seeking a Substitute Aide to support the instructional program for students under the supervision of the special education teacher. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of required aide in-service training and certification programs.

Starting date is immediate and the position is located in Putnam County, West Virginia. Applicants should be prepared for evaluation by the Principal/Assistant Principal and must meet the district's test requirements

Qualifications

• Holds a high school diploma or GED or TASC.
• Passes the test for the "Classroom Aide" classification.
• Has completed the required aide in-service training and certification programs.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• The substitute School Exceptional Education Aide supports theinstructional program by performing tasks assigned by the special education teacher.
