Qualifications

• Must have one or more of the following: 48 college units, AA/BA degree preferred, CBEST certificate, or pass Proficiency Exam within 60 days.
• Experience in a classroom setting is preferred and background checks are required.
• Must meet California Department of Education minimum criteria and hold a valid CA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily student attendance.
• Provide supervision to ensure student safety at all times.
• Assist with classroom instruction and behavioral data collection as directed by supervising Teacher.
• Transport students to and from school and assist with related activities and field trips.
• Manage behavior and apply appropriate consequences for Special Education students as needed.
