Job summary

Standard Middle School in the Standard School District is hiring an Instructional Aide for Special Education (SDC M/M). Under supervision of certificated staff, you will assist individuals and small groups with instructional tasks and classroom management at the middle school level.

Qualifications include either two years of college, an Associate's or higher degree, or a comparable assessment; CPR training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
• CPR training is required or preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of certificated staff, assist individuals and small groups of students with instructional tasks, assist with classroom management, record keeping, and other work as assigned.
• Specialized attention to any children with identified health concerns.
