Job summary

Standard School District seeks an Instructional Aide for Special Education at Standard Middle School. The role supports certificated staff by assisting individuals and small groups with instructional tasks, classroom management, and record-keeping.

The position is 5.75 hours daily across 183 work days with pay at $18.66–$23.31 per hour and an additional $0.32/hour in lieu of benefits. CPR training is required, and placement medical/TB/fingerprint clearances apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of college study, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal assessment demonstrating knowledge to assist in reading, writing, and math (or readiness).
• CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of certificated staff, assist individuals and small groups of students with instructional tasks, assist with classroom management, record keeping, and other work as assigned.
• Specialized attention to any children with identified health concerns.
