Job summary

Standard Elementary School is seeking a Special Circumstances Instructional Aide (SCIA) to provide one-on-one and small-group learning experiences for students with intensive or specialized needs under certificated staff supervision, across preschool to middle school as assigned. The position supports personal care, instruction, behavior, and inclusive education in line with IEP/504 plans.

The role requires two years of study or an Associate’s degree and CPR training, offers 5.75 hours per day,

Qualifications

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree.
• CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Under direction and supervision of certificated staff, provide one-on-one assistance and learning experiences for individual students or small groups of students with identified intensive or specialized needs in areas including personal/health care, instruction, behavior, and/or general education inclusion in adherence to IEP/504 plans.
