Job summary

Standard School District is seeking an Instructional Aide for SDC Mild/Moderate at Highland Elementary School. The position is 5.75 hours per day, assisting students with instructional tasks and classroom management.

Minimum qualifications include two years of college or an associate degree, or an approved alternative, plus CPR training. The incumbent will undergo pre-placement procedures as required and must apply by the filing deadline of August 14, 2026.

Qualifications

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
• CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Assists individuals and small groups of students with instructional tasks.
• Assists with classroom management, record keeping, and other work as assigned.
• Specialized attention, support, and assistance to any children with identified health concerns.
