The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Special Education Inclusion Specialist.
This is an immediate need for a full-time, on-site, contract (permanent) position. The start date will be to be determined based on the new hire's availability.
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Inclusion Specialist operates in a district-wide capacity to support student outcomes by providing consultation, coaching, and support to educators. The Inclusion Specialist works collaboratively with school personnel, community partners, and parents/guardians to facilitate transition experiences for incoming Kindergarten students through post-secondary education and experiences. This role supports a caseload of students with disabilities who are receiving their education in approved private schools or other alternative educational placements, oftentimes serving as the Local Education Agency representative.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and completion of a PA Department of Education approved certification preparation program
Active certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education in Special Education, School Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
Board certification as a Behavior Analyst helpful
*Applicants with pending certifications through the PA Department of Education may be considered with appropriate evidence of completion of a PDE approved certification preparation program and evidence of passing scores on certification examinations.
Please note that entry onto the salary schedule is capped at Step 4 for individuals with prior K-12 teaching experience.
