Job summary

Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking a Personal Care Assistant at Hoover Elementary School to support students in an Autistic Support - ABA classroom.

This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position working directly with students with special needs. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM during a 190-day school year, with a salary starting around $16.69–$16.79 per hour and benefits after a 90-day probationary period.

Qualifications

• Be a high school graduate or possess a GED.
• Have completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study, OR possess an Associates degree or higher.
• Complete a series of job-based trainings during the first year of employment, and continuing education credits in subsequent years.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students with special needs in an Autistic Support ABA classroom.
• Assist with daily activities and supervision of students.
• Support instructional staff and implement behavior intervention plans as directed.

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position ofPersonal Care Assistant at Hoover Elementary School.

This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position working directly with students with special needs in an Autistic Support - Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) classroom.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM

190 days during the regular school year (summers, weekends and holidays off)
Rates:
Starting wages are either $16.69per hour (approx. $22,197 annual) or $16.79per hour (approx. $22,330 annual), for new hires to the District, depending upon previous school district experience. The salary for the 2026-2027 school year will be prorated based on start date.

This is a salaried position with a fixed per pay amount disbursed over 24 pays on a September through August cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to be eligible for special education support positions, applicants must meetthe following criteria:
Be a high school graduate or possess a GED,
AND
1) Have completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study,

3) Complete a series of job-based trainings during the first year of employment, and continuing education credit hours during subsequent years
