Job summary

La Joya ISD Evangelina Garza Elementary in Mission, TX seeks a Special Education Inclusion/Resource/Content Mastery teacher (ACE Campus). You will collaborate with campus leadership to implement compliant IEPs, provide inclusive instruction, and support students with diverse needs.

The role requires TEKS-aligned planning, differentiated instruction, and regular ARD participation to promote student achievement and growth in academics, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Education required includes a Bachelor's Degree and valid teaching certificate.
• Special Education certification and/or endorsement required, plus ESL/Bilingual credentials.
• Experience with state/federal special education regulations and IEP development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons aligned to TEKS and district timelines using technology.
• Provide differentiated instruction to individuals or groups.
• Identify learning styles and modify curriculum accordingly.
• Maintain ARD documentation and compliance with timelines.
• Coordinate with special education staff and related service providers to develop and implement IEPs.
• Consult with general education teachers on behavior management and CPI crisis protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Attend faculty meetings and serve on committees as required.
