Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
• Assist in supervising students inside and outside the classroom (lunchroom, bus duty, playground, community).
• Assist teacher and/or diagnostician with materials, folders, and records handling.
• Assist students with individual tasks including transfers to/from wheelchairs and personal care as needed.
• Help manage student behavior and support crisis intervention as directed.
• Prepare materials for instruction and support small group activities under teacher direction.
• Keep teachers informed of any student needs or problems.
• Uphold school rules and participate in staff development and meetings.
