Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking passionate In-Home Tutors to provide one-on-one in-home tutoring for students in Burbank, CA, with a focus on special education. You will support daily activities and deliver instruction tailored to each student's IEP in their home environment.

Candidates should have experience with special needs, be able to commute to Burbank, CA, and preferably speak Spanish. We offer flexible schedules and opportunities across the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs and accommodations.
• Must be able to commute to Burbank, CA.
• Ability to develop engaging, interactive lessons tailored to IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 tutoring sessions for students with special education needs.
• Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with each student's IEP.
• Adapt materials and assessments to fit individual learning styles.
• Track and document student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams for a cohesive learning experience.
• Maintain open communication with parents about progress and concerns.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports emotional growth.
• Stay current on best practices in special education.
