JCSSA-Godley ISD Entity in Grandview, TX is hiring a Special Education EXCEL Paraprofessional to support students in self-contained or regular classrooms and help implement IEP goals under the supervision of certified staff.

You will assist with supervising, caring for, and instructing students with special needs, and may drive short trips between campuses as needed. Immediate start after hire.

• Emotional maturity and stability necessary for the specialized work involved.

• Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning per IEP.
• Assists certified staff in devising strategies to reinforce skills based on individual needs.
• Administers tests, homework, make-up work to assist teacher in evaluating progress.
• Alerts the teacher to any problem or special information about a student.
• Monitors and assists special education students in various environments for safety.
• Provides direct instruction under supervision to implement IEP goals.
• Maintains confidentiality and ethical behavior in school environment.
