Job summary

All About Kids, Inc. is seeking a Special Education Evaluator to join our team of dedicated professionals. You will perform comprehensive evaluations for children with developmental delays and collaborate with families, teachers, and other specialists to inform individualized plans.

You will develop and implement treatment plans, provide recommendations for accommodations, and maintain precise records. This role emphasizes best practices and teamwork in a supportive clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Teaching Certificate in Special Education (Permanent or SDA/All Grades)
• Proven experience conducting special education evaluations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children with developmental delays, including cognitive, social, emotional, and adaptive skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals
• Provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications to support learning and development
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated services
• Keep accurate, detailed records of evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans
• Stay current with best practices and research in special education
