Job summary

Community Day Charter Public School in Lawrence, MA seeks a Special Education Evaluation Coordinator to coordinate high-quality academic evaluations and support students' needs. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Special Education, you will conduct evaluations, interpret data, and support IEP/504 processes and related documentation.

The role requires adherence to testing protocols, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and experience with eligibility processes; travel between campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE Moderate Disabilities Teaching License (PreK-8) required.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Ability to adhere to testing protocols and standardized administration procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer academic assessments following standardized procedures to ensure valid results.
• Conduct comprehensive academic evaluations for initial, reevaluation, and eligibility determinations.
• Prepare evaluation reports detailing student strengths, needs, and educational implications.
• Support eligibility and IEP/504 processes and service coordination.
• Collaborate with IEP/504 teams to develop goals, accommodations, and services.
• Participate in IEP/Section 504 meetings and related review sessions.
