PORTER COUNTY EDUCATION SERVICES SCHOOL DISTRICT at SELF School is seeking a Multidisciplinary Team Clerical Assistant to support school psychologists and educational diagnosticians in evaluating students. The role involves handling materials, distributing reports, organizing data, and communicating with parents and staff.

The position runs 185 days per year at $16 per hour, requiring strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with email systems, spreadsheets, Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Competency in utilizing online platforms and programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Multidisciplinary Team Supervisor, School Psychologists, and Educational Diagnosticians in the delivery and collection of materials.
• Distribute rating scales, teacher reports, parent reports, and other pertinent information to stakeholders for evaluation purposes.
• Collect and organize information associated with evaluations for students.
• Communicate effectively through a variety of methods with parents, school personnel, community partners, and other agencies with respect to evaluation information.
• Assist staff in the procurement of assessment materials or other purchases.
• Demonstrate compliance with IEP processes associated with initial evaluations and reevaluations in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Utilize Indiana's IEP software (Special Programs) and other shared electronic platforms as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality, maintain records in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Enhance partnerships with other Porter County agencies and state agencies who provide services to students and adults with disabilities through a supportive service model.
