Hancock Grammar School in Maine is looking for a Special Education Educational Technician I/II/III to support students in a small Pre-K–8 setting. You will work under a certified teacher to implement IEP accommodations, provide academic and behavioral support, and promote an inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have Ed Tech II/III authorization or willingness to obtain it, with strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Maine Department of Education Ed Tech II or III authorization or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with students who have disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.

Hancock Grammar School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Educational Technician to join our supportive team serving students in a small, community-centered Pre-K to Grade 8 school on the beautiful coast of Maine.

Responsibilities Include

• Providing academic and behavioral support to students with IEPs, under the supervision of a certified special education teacher.
• Supporting students in inclusive classroom settings, small groups, or one-on-one.
• Implementing accommodations and modifications as outlined in IEPs.
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to meet students needs.

Qualifications/Characteristics Of The Ideal Candidate

Pay Range is dependent on experience and certification -$20.57-27.61 per hour
